The Vanished

It was supposed to be a weekend getaway with friends, but it turned into a nightmare that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.

Five friends, Kate, Alex, Sarah, Mark, and John, decided to rent a cabin in the woods to escape the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. However, their fun weekend took a dark turn when Sarah vanished into thin air.

At first, they thought it was a prank, but when they couldn't find her, panic set in. They searched the woods, called out her name, but there was no sign of her. They couldn't even find her phone or any other belongings.

As night fell, the group became increasingly paranoid. They heard strange noises coming from the woods and felt like they were being watched. They locked the cabin doors and windows, but it didn't stop them from feeling like they were being stalked.

The next morning, Mark went out to search for help, leaving Kate, Alex, and John behind. Hours passed, and there was no sign of Mark. Kate and Alex decided to go out and look for him, but they too vanished.

Now, John was alone in the cabin, and he knew he had to get out of there. He grabbed a flashlight and ventured into the woods, hoping to find help. But what he found was something that would haunt him forever.

He stumbled upon a small cabin hidden in the woods, and inside, he found a room filled with strange objects, including Sarah's phone and a photo of the group. As he was examining the room, he heard footsteps coming closer.

John ran out of the cabin and into the woods, not stopping until he found a main road. He flagged down a passing car, and when he turned around to look back, he saw a figure in the distance, watching him.

When the police arrived at the cabin, they found no trace of the missing friends. It was as if they had vanished into thin air. The only clue they found was a note left behind in the small cabin, saying, "You're next."

The case was never solved, and the small town near the woods became known as a place where people vanished without a trace. John never returned to the woods, but he never forgot the terror he experienced that weekend. And he never forgot his friends who vanished, leaving behind only unanswered questions and a haunting mystery.
