The Superhero

When we say the word SUPERHERO what comes to our mind is Superman and other superheroes but in this story, you are going to read about a hero you have never thought of.

It was my summer vacation going on. My family and I planned to visit my maternal grandmother. I missed everyone there but I missed my sister and her pet Tommy a lot. He was a Pomeranian, tall and brown in colour. We went there. We enjoyed a lot. The next day, we planned to visit an amusement park. We went there, we were thrilled to reach there. We played on all swings but I liked the rollercoaster the most. While coming back, we saw McDonald's there, then we decided to go there and eat pizza.

Now here, the tragedy starts, we reached home. My sister saw a balloon seller. She requested her mother to buy it for her. Her mother said, "You wait here I will bring it for you ". I was busy telling Tommy where we went and what we did. As I loved him, I always tell him what we did when we went out. When we go out he is there guarding our home. I don't like him guarding our home, I want him to go with us. But he could not.

Return to the story, my sister didn't wait. She could not control herself to go with her mother. She ran from home to her mother. I stopped her as the road was busy but she did not listen to me. A car came in hight speed, it was just going to hit her, but she was saved. Again a car came in hight speed, it was probably going to hit her but Tommy ran and pushed my sister. She fell on the footpath. She got a cut in her right hand but her life was saved. At the same time, Tommy lost his life. We rushed to the nearest Veterinarian. His surgery was performed. After surgery, the Veterinarian said: " Sorry, we could not save him. Many of his bones were broken and his internal organs were damaged". After listening to this, I was horrified.

A hero sacrifices everything for saving people. I must consider Tommy as a superhero. Anyone who does not believe that Tommy is a superhero, I do not care but I consider Tommy as a superhero.
