The Story Of Success

  Human beings are always tuned to achieve success the minute they are born. As a young child to an older person, as a rich and a poor person, as a man and a woman etc. the perception varies. Each one of us strive to succeed in life some manage to achieve success while others may not succeed due to various reasons.

This story is based on real life incidents that I have myself seen. The story is so motivating.  

Sometimes life throws challenges when we least expect them. When we fight these challenges victoriously, we become successful. This was the philosophy of the protagonist of this story.             

 Anchal and Ashutosh are a lovely couple very much in love with their own beautiful nest and three lovely children. Their life seemed like a fairy tale. Ashutosh was running a small business that manufactured iron and other metal rods useful in construction activities. He was doing well until one fateful day when a big fire broke out on the premises of his business gutting a lot of raw material that caused a lot of monetary loss and mental anguish to the entire family as well as the extended one. Ashutosh had to look after the needs of five members, the children were still in school and so he was alone in this fight supported by his dear wife Anchal. What next was the next question that did not give any answer from anywhere. That is when the turning point in their life came in.              

Ashutosh happened to meet his longtime friend in a market. They were classmates and good friends. But, over the years they lost touch because of the distances they stayed at. During the conversation they both discussed about their families, jobs, children etc. When Ashutosh revealed his ordeal, his friend suggested to him to move towards Southern India where he too was working for a well-known private company. He went on to say that the place where he was presently staying was developing at a very fast pace as recently the state had got divided and it had got the status of smart City and so many projects launched and so much more activities happening. This news was so gratifying to the entire family of Anchal and Ashutosh. With much delay they completed all the required formalities and shifted to the new state. It was new in all aspects. The language, the people, the culture everything was so strange. But it did not take much time for them to adjust themselves to the new surroundings as the people were simple and good. Of course, the weather was humid and hot. But since they had no other choice.      

 Ashutosh started his job at an industry that was dealing with metal rods and other items. He was getting a decent pay and their life was slowly getting better day by day. The children were given admission in a school that was considerate about their personal matter. So, their studies were not affected. There was another change that was so good and that would make the family successful was waiting around the corner. Anchal was a good cook, and she was eager to learn new dishes whenever possible. She was good at baking cakes and biscuits as she had to satiate her children's demand. One day she packed a handful of handmade chocolates in her children's lunch boxes a day after children's day. The chocolates were liked so much by the other children in the classroom that they kept asking for more. With a promise that they would get more the next day Anchal's children pestered her to prepare some more chocolates. She prepared a new variety that was liked even more by all children in the classroom. It was a big hit. From next day Anchal started getting calls from many parents asking her to deliver more varieties of handmade chocolates. She was able to make them on time and earn good money sitting at home. She employed few girls to assist her in the kitchen. Her business of making chocolates became so big and famous. She even ventured into making cakes, puddings, other snacks that were sold like hot cakes. She slowly started getting bigger orders catering to birthday parties, housewarming ceremonies, and so on. Within no time she opened a small restaurant that served delicious food of different types at affordable prices. Her USP was clean surroundings, affordable prices and hospitality. This was her success mantra. She was even conferred the medal of the best woman entrepreneur of the year 2020. People say wow what an amazing success story that might have an element of luck and a lot of hard work
