The Small Snake's New Skin

Once upon a time, there lived a small snake with his dad in a forest. The snake was fond of playing with his friends. Every day he used to play before returning home to sleep, The snake's home was in a hole under the ground.

 

One day the small snake's full body started itching, so he said to his dad, ''Daddy my full body is itching''. Dad replied, ''We will see tomorrow what is happening to you. The little Snake agreed to wait till the next day.

 

The next day the snake's neck was looking red like blood. So he again complained to his dad, ''Dad look at my neck. It has turned red''. After looking at the son, the Dad exclaimed, ''OOHH! I know what is happening to you. You will soon have new skin. Go and rub your skin between those two rocks''.

The little snake said, ''BUT DAD.....”  Dad said, ''listen to me and do as I say''. The little snake obeyed his father and started to rub his skin between the stones. Slowly his old skin fell apart and he had new shiny skin all over the body. The little snake was very happy to have new shining skin. He thanked his dad and went happily to play with his friends.

 

MORAL - Be patient and do not worry about little troubles.
