The Mysterious Dream (1)

1-ARE WE DEAD...?

“Ahhh....” Melody screamed in shock as she bumped with someone in the dark... She had no idea where she was nor how she reached there... She just suddenly reached there like a dream... Since she reached, everywhere was just dark...She couldn't hear anything... She couldn't see anything and couldn't touch anything... Yeah, how would she touch something if she can't see... Ridiculous...! She was so terrified and so scared...She just wondering how to get out of that dreadful place, suddenly, she jerked and screamed as someone bumped her...

“ Who is that...?” 

Melody was shocked as she heard another one's voice... It was the first voice she heard in that mysterious place... It was a girl's voice...Yeah, very sweet...

“ I... I'm Melody... Who are you...?”

“ What Melody...?”

“ My name... Melody...Will you tell me who are you...” She asked without being able to see the person...

“ My name is Lavender... Lavender Smith...”

“ Nice to meet you...” Melody said, giving her hand...

“ It's not nice... Do you know this place...?” She asked...

“ Hey...you should at least shake the hands...”

“ Well...where is your hand...?”

“ Let it be...” She said as she took back her hand...

“ Do you have any idea about this place...?” Lavender asked again...

“ No... I don't even know how I reached here... I was going for a picnic with my friends, and suddenly everything became black, and it's till now... I thought I'm alone...” She said but didn't hear any reply...

“ Ms. Smith... Are you still here...?” She didn't hear anything... She heard a few footsteps going away from her...

“ Ms. Smith...! Wait...!! I'm afraid alone...Ms.smith...! Where are you...? Don't leave me alone... Ms. Smith...!!” She shouted as she walked ahead... Her voice resounded in the dark place...

“ Why are you shouting...?” Lavender said with a loud voice...

“ Ms. Smith...” She said as she searched her hand, guessing...

“ First, stop calling me, Ms. Smith... You can call me Lavender...” She said... Melody listened to her voice and she caught her hand...

“ Whatever, we are in the same problem...so don't leave me alone...” She said and Lavender sighed...

“ Ok... Stay with me...” She said and walked ahead... But Melody didn't leave her hand...

“ So... Where are we going...” Melody asked...

“ I don't know...” Lavender said...

“ Then why are you going...?”

“ Do you have a better idea...? We gotta find somewhere bright... I don't like this dark area...”

“ Yeah... Me too...” She said with a shaky voice...

“ Anyone around....?” They both heard a very loud shouting vibrating in the dark... 

“Laven... Is that your voice...” Melody whispered...

“ Can't you hear it's a male voice...?” Lavender said...

“ Yeah... It's a male voice... It means there is another one here...”

“ Can anyone hear me...?” They both heard that voice again... Melody tightened her clasp...

“ Who is there...?” Lavender shouted...

“ Hey... Where are you...? Can you help me...? I'm lost...” The voice came near them...

“ Very nice to hear that you're also lost... We are also like you...” Lavender said...

“ We...? Is there another one...?”

“ Yeah... Hi... I'm Melody Steve...” She said...

“ Oh... Hello... Shane Edison...” He said...

“ Shame...?” Lavender said...

“ Not ‘m’... It's ‘n’...”

“ Ok... Whatever... Do you know this place...?” She asked...

“ No... I don't know anything...”

“ Good...” Lavender said... Then Shane also joined them in their crazy exploration...

“ Ah... My foot...” Lavender said...

“ Sorry...” Shane said...

“ Why we are not seeing any light...I am feeling like suffocating...” Melody said with a sad tone...

“ Maybe there is no light...” Shane said...“What is this place after all...? I don't understand how I reached here...”

“ You neither...?” Melody asked... Shane sighed and...

“It was my birthday... My brother gifted me a bike... But I didn't know how to ride, then I was just starting to learn... I fell as I lost my attention and darkness covered my sight... I couldn't see anything, and so I meet you...”

“ You don't know how to ride a bike...? How old are you...?” Melody asked...

“ Me... I'm 17...”

“ Really... Me too... High five...” She said and raised her hand...

“ I can't see your hand...” He said, and she put down her hand again...

“ Stop the useless things...” Lavender said...“ Let's think about how we reached here... Maybe that's the way we can get out...”

“ Yeah...you're right... It's logical...” Shane said...

“ You were on the bike, and fell...right...?” She said and he nodded...

“ Right...?” Lavender asked louder...

“ I nodded...” Shane said...

“ I can't see your head... donkey...!” Lavender said...

“ Donkey...?”

“ Well... Melody... You were on a picnic... Wait... Where were you at the last moment before you reach here...”

“ I was on my way... I mean on the car...” She said, and they all thought for a while...

“ Wait... I remember something...” Melody hurried to say... “When we were driving, a child came across the way... So we lost control of the car... And... I don't know... What next...?”

“ I got it...” Lavender said, and they both were interested to hear...“You both had an accident... Maybe you...”

“ We...?” Melody asked with a trembling tone and was afraid to know the answer...

“ What do you mean...? Are...Are we dead...?” Shane asked surprisingly...

“ Wait... It can't be possible... I don't believe it... I... I cannot die...” Melody said as tears fell from her eyes...

“ Melody... Control yourself... We aren't sure yet... Maybe it's something else... We aren't sure...” Shane said...

“ I think I'm sure...” Lavender whispered... But it was enough to be heard in that silent place... Melody and Shane's hearts pounded like hammers... They didn't want to die at such young ages... They had many goals to accomplish...

“ Why are you sure...? Where were you before you reached here?” Shane asked...

“ I was...in my...room... Committing suicide...!” Lavender said...

“ What!!!!” Melody and Shane said with a loud voice and widened eyes...
