The town was fairly big, with some sections poor but densely populated. There were others which were rich but sparsely populated. In the beginning there was one small sub-section of the town which exercised disproportionate power over rest of the town. Its power lasted for quite long. Over a period of time, another small sub-section emerged, but no other section gave it the importance it deserved.

The newer powerful section had to start war to get attention of others. Finally, four sections emerged in the town. The previously dominant section was subsumed in the new powerful section, it was named as A. But a totally new powerful section (B) emerged which challenged the suzerainty of section A. The other two sections C and D aligned with one or another of the powerful sections.

There was some semblance of the order in the town. But it did not last long. Over a period of time section B continued to become weak, although it maintained a façade of strength for the outside world. There were murmurs in the poorer sections, some people in the poorer sections disputed the existing power structure.

There was an all-out war with older alignments falling by the wayside. In the chaos that followed, section B was almost decimated. A powerful individual emerged who united poorer sections C and D. He declared war on powerful section A. Even Section B supported it. This led to the new power structure in the town.

There was new super power in the town, which subjugated all the other sections. This super power was renamed as CD.

The new super power was exercising authority over the town. The town had changed for ever. The new super power also refused to take lessons from the history which teaches us that nothing is permanent in this world.

The new super power now rules over the town. The life of people living in the town had not changed much. The only change for them was that they had to kowtow to another super power.
