Sahib, Memsahib And Tommy

There occurred a drastic and devastating cyclone in Orissa. This caused a heavy loss of physical property and human lives, it took many lives. The state suffered a great damage. Ministers from the center arrived at Odisha to see the damage, natural condition of the state. As if they were waiting to see such a natural calamity, disaster of the earth, their mother land, so that they can get a chance to take care of their mother earth. Yes they wanted to avail of the golden opportunity to serve their mother land ‘India’ . After a long time natural disaster has been taken place. Ministers reached at Odisha being provided with police escorts, they were also selected from the VIP category of Indian police services. Achhal Mohanty deputy director general of police department, Odisha, became very active. He arranged every thing very nicely preparing schedule of various activities such as, inspection of cyclone affected area, public meeting, conversation with poor helpless people along with the VIP party in five star hotel. 

But main thing was that they had to maintain secrecy and privacy because media people, news channel and television medias were very alert and active to take all recording, video shooting to attract public because, during the tragic, crucial time of devastating cyclone, they like to take life telecast as they can earn some money through various advertisements . Companies, all business sectors, welfare centers and various trusts become very active to provide aids and add for the advertisement of their organizations for cyclone to get more public importance and popularity. So ministers had to live under tight protection. His works excelled all other officers, his batch mates so, Achhal Mohanty was proud of his efficiency but, director general Mr Abhaya singh was not at all satisfied with his work. There is a reason behind it, as Achhal Mohanty was working under the supervision of police director general ‘Nischhal Tripathy’, who is the rival of ‘Abhaya Singh’, hence Abhaya Singh was angry with Achhal Mohanty. Mr Tripathy has received many gallentry awards for his bravery and excellent service, so Mr Singh was very jealous of him. 

 

After taking the last sip of his wine from the glass, Mr Singh shouted at Achhal Mohany, he said, ‘Mr Achhal; how could you be a faithful dog of that donkey ‘Mr Nischal Tripathy’???  I can not believe it. Achhal Mohanty replied ‘ No, no, no sir, dog is always faithful to human beings. How can I be a god?? I am an human being, being an human being I cannot be faithful to a particular person. I must prove my logic, the ethic and moral of my statement. I would never be loyal to Mr Nischal Tripathy. Believe me. I swear. I might be faithful to you instead of being faithful to him. I am not a dog, I am an human being. This words directly touched Abhaya Singh’s heart. Achhal Mohanty got the promotion, directly he got transfer order from Odisha to Delhi. Unfortunately after his transfer, he had a heart attack, he had to go for a by-pass heart surgery. Both of his sons Susahant and Prashant did not agree to come back India to visit their parents as they were alert of their father’s illness. Mother Lonely Mohanty continuously communicated through internet and phone. She tried her best to make her children aware of the serious illness of their father so that, children would agree to come back India but, all her effort went in vain. The voice over phone was negative. The voice was cold and impassionate, it was lacking emotion and sentiment. Neither they consoled strongly to their mother nor they could express their sorrows freely. They heaved a deep sigh in return. Nevertheless they expressed their helplessness and inability to return their homeland or mother land what ever it is. Achhal Mohanty’s sons expressed the bitter truth during that crucial time that ‘do not trust in human beings. Never measure the intensity of love with your blood relationship. Sometimes your own blood become cold and impassionate .your own pride and vanity become speechless and mute without caring for your feelings or compassion’. 

But Achhal Mohanty’s pet dog Tommy expressed his feeling deep love and loyalty towards his master. He refused to take food until his master ate food. Though Tommy is very fond of food, chicken and mutton but, he remained hungry on starvation for two days. Tommy is very highly sophisticated category of dog very upgrade breeding.

Some times Lonely memsaheb’s neighbor’s dog Lucy, the Pomeranian female dog visits Tommy house. As soon as Tommy hears the barking sound of Lucy his girl friend , he just escapes from Ram Singh’s hands, with chain, he runs towards Lucy, both jump at each other, both attack each other by loving, biting, rolling, hugging and jumping over each other. They show their wild intense animal instinct or wild vulgar love, which is expressed freely, they had been deprived of such love from a long time. Lonely memsahib beats Tommy badly as he is an unique aristocratic dog so, he committed the crime showing off his cheap love in front of the public openly. She beats with Achhal Mohanty’s police belt to show royal punishment to the police Doberman dog.                                                                                                                                           

Next day Lonely regrets for her conduct. She declares in front of all, that Tommy is her own son. Dogs are like human beings, rather more than human beings. Once again Lonely memsaheb starts giving training to Tommy more efficiently, he starts behaving differently after the training period ,yes he became more matured and shrewd ,now he can distinguish between good and bad, he can read the complicated and cunning thoughts of human beings, who are faithful and who are not. He starts barking different ways seeing the strangers who are faithful or not, same logic he applies for the close friends or relatives of Achhal Mohanty’s house,

Now Lonely memesaheb is very happy with Tommy, he just works according to her expectation or up to her satisfaction, even Tommy knew to please and tease both to Achhal Mohanty ,the way Lonely madam wants. As soon as Achhal Mohanty reaches at home, Tommy starts playing the witty game like, creating an romantic atmosphere in between sahib and memsahib ,Tommy starts licking the beautiful fair bare legs of Lonely memsahib, some times her soft cheek and white neck passionately arousing an peculiar stimulation in both sahib and memsahib, sometimes Achhal Mohanty looses his control, his manly police personality, reserved, rude appearance is changed to a small child , in excitement he says, ‘hey Lonely it would be better if I would be your Tommy, at least I could have got a chance to lick your neck, cheek and what??’’ Then both start laughing even if not talking sex words, they enjoy a lot by the mischievous conduct of Tommy. Again he says, ‘I know you would love me, kiss me and hug me as long as you feel satisfied with me the way you love to Tommy’. Suddenly Lonely said, ‘no, no, I would love you more because you would be my two in one, husband and Tommy both so.’’ Again both laughed loudly.

Some times Achhal Mohanty comes late home, knowing the loneliness of lonely memsahib, that night lonely becomes violent ,she takes her revenge on the mute helpless dog Tommy, she beats him badly with Achhal Mohany police belt, then she shouts and says, this government belt is being used in proper place and correct time. Tommy cries, screams and barks loudly but, Achhal Mohanty feels secured as he was escaped by Tommy only. His wife’s anger first bursts on Tommy like a fire, then it can be extinguished slowly, slowly , after some times Lonely cools down, then both husband and wife try to search some thing in the darkness of the dark night, because they are scared of day bright light. They try to pacify each other in the night only loving, kissing and fucking each other so passionately . Lonely memsahib forgets her loneliness and revenge both. Achhal Mohanty also blames him for his negligence and carelessness towards Lonely. He begs excuse to Lonely . Lonely feels shy. She is ashamed of her conduct and she too begs excuse to her husband for such violent action, rage and hatred. Both beg excuse to Tommy in the morning as Tommy was beaten and tortured for their mistakes, inhuman behavior on mute animal, section under domestic violence on pet dog. They give more chicken, mutton for the compensation of their torture, Acchal Mohanty conveys his gratitude for saving him from the hands of his wife, he consoles Tommy, ‘see instead of beating me she beats you but, she is not angry with you, she loves you very much more then any one. Do not misunderstand her. She is your mistress only’.  

After a long time Achhal Mohanty’s sons returned to India to see their father whether he is alive or not. Now their parents were not so excited meeting their sons as the appearance of the half moon in the sky never attracts the tides of the sea, like this the parents were not excited or over whelmed with pleasure with the presence of their sons, unexpectedly their sons appeared before them, now they tried to hide their feelings, they pretended to be very happy with Tommy, Lonely Memsaheb gave more importance to Tommy as if she wanted to show her attachment for her dog than her sons, the sons were totally upset with this type of attitude of their parents, if Tommy would be their own son then, they would claim their rights boldly or they would go for a civil case against their parents for the ancestral property.

Thank god Tommy is a dog only not an human being who can claim his right for his service in return. After some days, Achhal Mohanty’s sons were planning to return back to their working place ,that is USA . Who knows again when would they come back to their mother land to visit their mother as well as their mother land, where they have been brought up .How long ,how far can Achhal Mohanty and Lonely Memsaheb hide their parental feelings for their children as it was very difficult to hide such a true and intense love for their children after all they are the inheritance of their paternal property, carrier of their dynasty and their name. Early morning they were ready to bid fare well to their children in the airport. They do not know when would their children come back again because, they need to spend an huge amount of money for the travel fare by international flight so, it depends on their financial condition, when would they like to visit India from America, at least once in a year, they expect their children to come and visit them.

 If they do not come then lonely feel bad as if they stay like fish out of water in the separation of their children from their lives, but children never understand their feelings, they expect more and more from their parents, as if it is the duty of the parents to look after the children till the end of their lives, but children have all right to behave indifferently ,selfishly to their parents, they take it for granted. Money, comfort, luxury and accusation of more property and more property is the aim of the children but, without sacrificing some days or money for the parents. If they do so, then how can they claim the demand ,right on the parents which, they think is the duty of the parents only.

 Lonely and Acchall Mohanty said good bye to their children, children were ready to say good bye to their parents but, lonely could not hide her motherly emotional feelings, tears were rolling down on the cheek. She could not control herself, but Achhal Mohanty became strong and bold tried to hide his manly but fatherly feelings. He could not be able to hide too, it was expressed soon by his tear also, he cried like a small child loudly, now children were not there to see their feelings, so that they can console them. They had the fallacious notion that, their parents are least bothered about their separation, they do not worry about their children.

Love has been reduced or diminished being staying away separately from their children, as if they have cutoff their own part from their body and living artificially with artificial organs, depending just on an animal, a pet dog, Tommy, who is observing the duty of their sons so faithfully!! This is the mystery of life, human becomes so helpless at the hands of time, situation and relation, blood relation. My own dynasty, my own pride, hierarchy which has no meaning, no significance, no emotional touch with reality, reality becomes a dream and a fantasy far fetched imagination. A dream which was once the truth, sign of love, a carrier, an image of their identity or pride. People feel false pride and false identity, hiding their helplessness and insecurity of loneliness staying alone. No one protect their love or emotion giving them mental security , sharing their loneliness with them, giving them company or attachment, comfort of love, togetherness, touch of affection or intimacy. All become mirage, an illusion of life, when people feel thirsty, they need water. They run after water to satisfy their thirst, again they feel thirsty seeing the mirage of water only. Life is a mirage, never ending thirst of lust, love and desires. They returned home. While they were entering to the home, Tommy jumped on them barking loudly, ‘wow wow’ with all affection and as a needy son, he licked their feet ,lonely hugged Tommy and kissed him also as her own son as she used to kiss her sons when they were kids. Tommy was barking loudly. He wanted to console them, as if he was saying - It is the nature of life, you forget your past, live in today’s present life again, your present will be your future, you will be forced to forget that life, that would stay in memory only. Your past is not present now, so do not worry about that, think about the present, then think about future, because your present would be past after some time, so future would be the present with that truth, with that future you would live, so, think about present only, which is in your hands, that is the truth only, that is only truth, Yes once again Achhal Mohanty, Lonely and Tommy started living their as usual life as they were spending before, their scheduled life, they tried to set their life style once again, yes they were happy more as they had discovered the truth of life nicely. Their lonely life with dog, Tommy, sahib, memsahib and dog Tommy.
