Prayer

A boy was going to the village when he stopped by a river to drink water and have rest. A bird had a nest in the bushed near the bank. She went hunting for his baby while the baby saw the saw lying under the tree and was curious to know who he was, so it left the nest and went near the boy. A snake had been living in the burrow under the tree, when she saw the baby bird, she decided to hunt for her baby who was also excited to hunt. As the baby bird approached the boy, the snake baby went behind him as he was faster than his mother and bit the bird but the boy woke up and thought the baby snake was going to attack him, so he hit it with a stone. As its mother saw him hitting her son, she bit the boy.

In the evening, a saint was passing in the forest after offering water to the sun in the river and praying for world peace when he saw a boy, a baby bird, and a snake baby sleeping next to each other. He smiled, thinking his prayer has been answered.
