PLANT TREES TO LIVE HAPPILY

Once upon a time there lived a old farmer named siddhappa. He used to live in a village. He used to plant trees where ever it is possible. All of his friends used to laugh at his work. Siddhappa used to do this work with great devotion. He used to sow the seeds,water the plants. This work gave him immense happiness. One of his friends asked him" see friend, you are planting the trees but since you are old you may not see the results of your work. Then why are you

doing hard work." Siddhappa said " i know that friend. I am planting these

trees for next generation. Even though

I may not be able to taste the fruit of the tree i planted. Next generation people can enjoy the fruit. They can spend some time in the shade of the tree happily"

Siddhappa's friend was convinced with the answer. He too started to plant trees.
