Literature Journey

There was a boy who seemed to be very normal from a farmer's family in a small town. He did his primary education at the government school in his mother tongue. Though he wasn’t a very studious student, his memory was quite sharp. Although he would go to school daily, but he wasn’t too sincere in his study at home. He would manage his homework either on the same day at school or after reaching school the next day. He used to do it on most occasions, but he would fail to do it on some occasions. Hence he would be punished most of the time. He never corrected himself in his school life as a leopard never changes its spot. He used to listen carefully when teachers asked the students to read the lesson one-one by. He could feed it to his memory for a longer time. Because of this habit, he would score good marks in various subjects putting himself into the first three in the class without studying much extra at home.
There was a very memorable incident in his life. When he was absent from school for whatsoever reason, his teacher finished two-three easy in the class for examination. He didn’t take care after going to school again. There was a half-yearly examination in the fourth class. There was a question to write an easy on festival Diwali and on other subjects too. The festival Diwali was a familiar subject for him which he enjoyed a few days before. He started writing his easy-on festival whatsoever he had done and enjoyed step by step. He wasn’t expected to write descriptions of what he himself did. He had written his easy in the same enjoyed fashion. When his teacher checked his copy along with other students. He noticed that all most all students had copied identical subject matter which was written to them except him. He decided to expose him in class. When he came up with the result in the class, the same student was called by him and handed over a copy for reading his essay. He was asked to read it loudly. No sooner did he hand the copy, than the student started reading. As he was progressing with his reading, his teacher himself and other students were laughing at him. He had completed his Diwali festival description without caring for them. His teacher questioned the students if they enjoyed the Diwali festival like him. His teacher was expecting the points which he had included in the essay as other students did. Generally all almost all students mug up the same answer which was delivered to them by their teacher as they memorized it by heart. The teacher observed the same identical answers from almost all students for other questions in the paper too. But his teacher used to notice some different patterns of answers from him covering the expected matter. He noticed his skill of own writing and just patted his back in front of all students.
Since he wasn’t laborious in his study, he continued his practice during his further education. Many times, the concerned teacher would give him good marks for written matters in his own style covering the concerned matter. There was also another wonderful event take place in his school days. There was a new teacher to teach him his mother language. He was on verge of retirement. There was an examination of school as usual before the final examination. He checked his copy along with other students too. When he started to make his comments about the result before distributing answer copies. He announced the names of toppers in the subject. All students clapped for them for their achievements. He told to his students that they weren’t the real topper in the subject. The student got surprised by his comment. There was anxiety among the students who was he? He told them about the real topper. He said that he had written a very good easy, but he had given him zero marks as punishment. He didn’t make the paragraphs in his writing easy which was expected by rule. Hence he stood forth the class. He appreciated his skill of writing and cautions him about the mistake in future.
He got employed in some big organization. There was a guideline for the promotion of Hindi in the scientific department. This opportunity helped him a lot to develop his hidden spark as good things happened with those who wait. He would write many scientific articles for departmental magazines and seminars. Poems for national festivals are to be delivered on the day. He would use small lyrics about the retiring persons in their honour on the day of their retirement function. In this way, he had a good collection of literature before his retirement. Thereafter, he had enough time for his own anthology after the pandemic period to complete of his incomplete literature. Later, he published a few books for readers. It was a really wonderful literary journey for him.
