I Thought

I thought that I had tasted it quite well

Because I felt as if I had tasted it once before, 

But I was sure that It was never here on this land;

Where less seems to be so much more. 

I knew that it was a bad idea and something 

That I would most likely one day regret-

Still, yet....I chose to do it anyways. 

For no drug had killed me yet

And damn, was it good at first,

Much like a potent red-wine.

I drank it as if I was losing a race.
