Hurt Lion

 A boy who was very-very sincere since his first school day. He was the son of teacher, having two more kids after him. fortunately, we were his closest friends. we used to observe him but never followed him in our school life. He had scheduled of playing game with his friend. Individual sport activities in a club like Table tennis, lawn tennis, Carom etc, Besides this ,he was a good singer too. His father was also active in above said activities. He was the regular player of lawn tennis along with other games in local lion club. Naturally all these character induced in his son. His father was proud of his son. As the years passed, he entered from middle school to high school in the same school where his father was teacher. Since he was a sincere student from his childhood. He was habituated of doing his home work and preparation for school examination in time. He never study owl night in his life like other students generally do during examination.

That was reason, all school teachers loved him. But rest of students who were not so sincere like him. They were coming slowly but steadily on track so that they could compete with him. These were the challenging days for him. There was another student who was also the son of a senior teacher to his father in the school. He was dog eat dog to him. There was very tough competition among the few bright students. But real competition was between two school teacher’s sons. There was neck-to –neck fight between them. Sometimes, one of them stood first, other second and vice versa. Still he was superior due other extra curriculum activates in school. The whole picture changed when there was lower school board examination result. Both of them were very much optimistic to stand in the merit list with flying colors. Unfortunately, none of the students of the school was stood in the board merit list. One of the student from another section stood in open merit. So he was the topper in school.

       It was the time when Indian government brought new education system. As per new education system, there was two School Board examination. All student then themselves stepped up for second board examination, except the boy of senior teacher who left the school, and took admission for secondary higher school board examination in the reputed junior college at the District level. During this period ,many changes occurred in the school. New headmaster post was filled up by the same senior teacher. He started the appointment of new lecturers for the junior college in the school. Bit he failed to do it for the first year of student. Anyhow he succeed in appointing new lecturers for last year of junior college. How ever, senior teachers managed the first year of the junior college. every thing was new for all student and management. As we know that time never wait for anybody. It runs at it’s own speed. All student then appeared for the second board examination of their life.

The result of the school was fairly good. but none of them scored the marks so that they would either go for medical or engineering. The junior teacher’s son took admission for science graduation . But headmaster’s son stood merit in the secondary school board examination with flying colors. He wanted to be doctor in his life as dreamed by his father. He went for medical in reputed medical college. This incident was shocking for him. However he pulled together himself. He also worked hard in science graduation. But this time, he loaded the bear scoring very good percentage in graduation. He was the topper in the college. he applied for B. Tech. He also got admission in the B. Tech college. But at the same time, he got the appointment for the post of clerk through competitive examination in the nationalized bank. He was caught between rock and hard place There were two option for him at the crossed road. Either he should go for higher education, then establish in life after making carrier or he should join bank and start earning at the drop of a hat. He was greedy like his father. Further more he was tired by doing such hard work in his entire education life.

His father was of the opinion that he was not physically so strong to make hard work in chemical engineering. He had to spend again more money for his education .That’s why, he asked his son to join the service. He was the first student of our class who started earning by leaps and bound. Rest of his friend came late on track of education. Therefore, they interested in higher education. They proceed for higher education than that brilliant chap. since they had taken the chance in their life. They benchmarked for better carrier in the life in comparison of him. He felt guilty, but was quiet happy because he married with teacher in the same town. They earned an arm and leg. They made huge property and cash at time of retirement. Since there was no scope in the town. Some friends made their daily wine club. A man who never touched any bad things. Now he became the regular liquor taker. Still he was very happy in the town with other low level friends in comparison with him.

          Three of his closed friend were settled in the Nagpur. They retired from their job. Their sons and daughter also settled by acquiring good position in their institutions and companies. They had a lot of time to spend. Empty mind is devil’s house, they were many plans in their mind for implementation. One of the plan was to celebrate their common sixty one birthday of all the classmate. They started their effort by going to their native place to meet their local classmate. They had meeting with all friends at dinner at their favorite hotel outside the town. All friends were very pleased with this meeting. They exchange their thoughts and enquire about their families. No body said about their problems. Every body was enjoying the friends meeting. 

    Then these three friends kept their proposal of arranging the above said function in their school. Every body saw eye to eye to the proposal. They showed the green signal from their side. But our beloved brilliant friend said that it was not bob’s our uncle. he indirectly opposed the proposal just raising about fund. Everybody said that all of us would contribute. It was a piece of cake for all. Then he raised the second point, we required the fund before beginning of function for making arrangement. Three friends gave him option that they would contribute rupees ten thousand each to pay advances. It was bite the bullet for us. Then he was cold feet.

         They decided to create a what’s group to mobiles the other friends in different corner of India. According to agreed plan, everything was going right. But this friend decided to make this mission fail. He always post his negative comments in the group. Locally he tried to misguide many friends. Nobody was able to understand his negative stand. The moment reached when he thought that he could not stop this function. Then he started to poke nose in the activates of the function. As per our chalked out program, it was decided to give an opportunity to every body to share his remarkable experience and events of their life. This friend was dam against this. once upon a time, as he was an apple of all friends and teacher eye. He thought ,every body would come and narrate his success and achievement of him and his family. He had nothing to say about his carrier in front of his friends and teachers. Because of his greediness, he earned an arm and leg. But he could not scaled very high position like his other friends. He still felt that he was superior to all. No body should be proud of themselves except him. He was wrong. Because he had that capacity to fly to touch the horizon. But failed to do eat. But other friends by the skin of their teeth touched the success of horizon. Man is honored till ,he is able to give his best to his last breath.
