After a long time, I would be able to do the things for which I was waiting for a longer time.

Today, I have nothing pending left. I had dishwashed all the utensils, cleaned the clothes and made projects of my sister. So, today, I was free bird. Mum would go to her friend’s house, so no work from her side. Papa went for fishing and my sister was packing her bags for her outdoor camp.

I took out my to-do list and gazed at it harder. I loved all the things mentioned in it, only I needed time to do, and now, I had that.

I changed my clothes to go out for shopping. Put money in the purse and checked my sister for last goodbye. As I entered, my sister was half-dressed and full puzzled. She was searching her accessories from the cupboard and pinning her hair. She was in a fix for choosing her clothes. I wanted to help her but I had my own desires and schedule. So, I showed cold shoulder to her problems and closed the door. But she heard me and requested me to help her.

Her problems and grief encircled me. so, I kept the idea of shopping aside and found her lost things. I was half-crying like clouds raining outside but at the same time, consoling myself to not to worry as I would complete it anyhow but surely by today.

Her packing got completed. She hugged me and departed for her trip. Her friend took her and I was again set free bird. I entered my feet into heels and glossed my lips. I chose the best umbrella matching my dress and smiled on the excitement which was tickling me from inside. I lifted my hand to open the door but it flung open from outside. It was my father. He returned from his journey was dripping from every inch.

He looked at me and smiled which trembled my bones. He meant something. He liked fresh fishes and now, he was in no mood to eat them. So, he requested me which looked like an order to transfer his fish into the large pot from his mini tank. I hated to do it. But he was my father. I could not deny him.

I did it. This time, I could hear my tears rippling in the fish pond. The mall— new, brand clothes, sale, and my favorite thing, all got vanished because it was closed now. But I hold my nerves and moved my finger to the next listicle.

It was of painting my pebbles. I sat down to paint my pebbles. Paint brushes, paints, glue, water and other things spread all around me waiting to touch them and embellish them with my prodigy but he came. My younger brother and demanded paint brushes for his project. He was younger and fulfilling their demands was my duty. So, I couldn’t deny him. He got happy when I handed over it but I was in gloom, again.

The whole day was vanquished by these unwanted things to which I couldn’t refuse. The list left as it was, uncompleted but each of my family members looked satisfied with their day. They had completed what they wanted and one of the reason was me somewhere but I nobody was ready to accept it. So, with this, I learned a most important lesson which changed my life and never left my list uncompleted.

Never always say yes!!
