Family Drama

Gowtham switched on the TV. In a family drama, the Husband is cheating on her wife with a colleague.

In another one, Husband is trying to remarry a much younger girl for her property. His wife is in hospital fighting a disease.

In every family drama he has seen, either husband is cheating or remarrying another girl.

The wife character is always crying or fighting for justice. 

His mom came and sat with him.

Mom, how could you watch all these things on TV? He asked.

Come on. It is fiction. They must exaggerate things to involve emotional turmoil. Then we get hooked up to the show. She said.

So, you do know what they are showing is wrong, right?

Yes. But, people like judging the characters. That's how our thinking is linked to flaws. So, the wife character has to struggle for the entire family without any recognition so that people get sympathized with her. With more judgment on other characters, they will follow the show.

Gowtham gave the remote to her and said Maa, Pranam to the holy viewers of family dramas.

They both laughed together.
