The image of his dilapidated   ancestral home reflects in Uttam 's mind's eye over and over again He has never visited his native place since twenty years.what for he will step up there? Who is there to cuddle him? 

 Although the house hold was poor   ascribed to love and affection they lived happily.

     His grandfather had three sons and four daughters. He had eight acres of fertile land , sugar cane and calorie producing coast line by the river.After all, Uttam's grand father held on to as a forester which was considered a prestigious job at that time. People of the village paid the family high respect. His eldest son Govind , was in charge of cultivation where as the middle Gautam , Uttam's father was in forest department. The youngest son didn't do anything but demandedeverything from Gautam as he was a service holder. and he had to to fulfill accordingly.He was the apple of discord to the house hold. Inspite of the trifles, There was peace and harmony to which the neighbours were jealous of. The only dejection was that anyone of the brothers had any offsprings for that reason they celebrated the birth of Uttam gorgeously.


    Sorrow and happiness go hand in hand.uttam. splashed in consideration of , five years 

until his father brought a second spouse despite the fact that his mother was spry.

   She well behaved with everyone and did not hesi tate to take care of Uttam. But that was not her acknowledgement. In the heart of her heart she abhorred both mother and son.She strived her hardest to do away with them. In the mean while, she brought forth a baby girl.This remarkable incident changed her attitude to wards Uttam as there was no possibility of a baby in future even as she had to to depend on him in her old age.

    But her villainous policy remained unchanged to wards his mother. She had been suffering from pancytonia. the scheming woman provided with the reverse medicine beyond the doctor's prescription as a result her condition deteriorated. Eventually, she passed away leaving behind her , the five year son Uttam.After she departed she laughed heartily. 


    Amidst mental imbalance. another sad news bent Gautam' s back bone. Gaurang left his ancestral home for a covetious offering particularly a large accent of landed property with a manor around five acres. Jagamohn and Mallika trusted in Gaurang to look after them in substitute of the vast property. But Gaurang went back from his promise and spent life lavishly with the sold possession. But the endorsement was not tended legally. Because of this foolishness , he claimed his share from his father 's property. He filled a case in the court and won it and took his share..Gautam was over puzzled. But there was no way left. Vamini the evil woman, took advantage of the disturbed time. She demanded the domicile in the legislation in her name. As Vamini was his only sexual partner he could not refuse to her demand and wrote the domicile in her name legitimately. Under the circumstances , he tested everyone. Not a single one supported him.


  How bad time tests everybody! One after another the stumbling blocks ascended on him. His elder sister pervaded in the judge court her share from the father's property as a legal averment.out of frustration Uttam sold the rest of the property and left for the near by town and lived in the rental home. Later on he bought a piece of land. He constructed a two bedroomed residence with other facilities and shifted there..Due to mental pressure he suffered from diabetes , high B.P., kidney failure. Up until, the case has been in the court of law. His sister knows clearly that Gautam has disposed of every inch of the possession and there is no hope of getting an inch from the cursed property she prosecutes her claim and has been a hunt to the the advocates. Uttam cackles for her madness because it is a hallucination for her.
