Crow And The Snake

Guru the crow found a tree that was quiet and no other animal lived on it. It was strange but he was happy to finally find a place for his family after a week of struggle. He built a nest on the tree thickest nest with his wife, Mia, who later laid four eggs. Babies hatched from the eggs. The couple was very happy and flew to get food for their babies but when they returned the nest was empty. Mia and Guru flew around to look for the chicks if they had fallen on the ground but there was no clue of them Guru noticed a hole on the base of the tree. As he focused on it, a pair of eyes flashed at it. As soon as he blinked, they disappeared, thus he thought he hallucinated and didn't tell Mia about it.

Time passed by and Mia again laid eggs. The babies hatched and although the couple didn't want to leave them they had to get food to feed them. Again when they returned their babies were missing. The couple looked around. Guru remembered the hole. He cawed at the hole that was greeted by a hiss and then noticed a baby crow feather. When Mia came to know about it, she advised to leave the tree but Guru had decided against it. He didn't like being forced to leave. He told her that he had a plan.

After a few months, Mia again laid eggs. Guru had lied to Mia, he didn't have any plan, so he would fly around the jungle looking for something that might help him. One such day when he sat by the river to drink water, he saw the queen was on a visit and she had taken off her jewellery to relax. He flew to the jewellery and grabbed the biggest piece that could fit in his beak, slow enough for the queen and her soldiers to notice him.

They started running after him to get the jewellery. The crow sat on his house tree and threw the jewellery in the hole on the base. The soldiers started digging it to find the jewellery and a snake sitting by it. The soldiers were brave and had tools. The snake by beaten by them.

Mia and Guru were looking at the snake getting karma from above the trees. The snake was taken by the soldiers for a queen. The eggs hatched and the couple lived happily with their kids.
