Business partners

Once there lived two friends, sonu and Shyam in a village. Sonu asked Shyam to start a joint business with him and would later divide the profit in halfand travel the world together. As their venture flourished, Sonu then asked Shyam to hide all the money under a tree in forest for safety. But one day, Sonu stole all the money and took it to his house.

After some months, they went back to the forest. Shyam was surprised when he couldn't find the box of money under the tree. He suspected that Sonu had betrayed him, so he went to panchayat but Sonu had sensed the disbelief, so he made his father hide in the tree hollow and speak as the tree's spirit and as his alibi. Shyam still wasn't impressed, he knew something was fishy. He took a burning log and put the tree on fire. Sonu's father jumped out from the cavity as the panchayat witnessed it. Sonu confessed to his crime and was so punished along with his father.
