Ambition

               A family having anonly son shifted from dense populated area of the city into newly developed area of the city. He built a very big house in a very big plot in the new locality. He came to live in the house with his family and old six cars. He might be fond of driving different cars. As per his schedule, he used to drive his all cars on a fixed day in the morning. Later, it came to know that he was retired from the job as an officer from government office. He was fairly rich man in the locality.

He had two big pet Alsatian dogs for the safety of family. Nobody dared to enter in his house when master was out of the home. His routine job was to take these dogs daily for walking in the morning and evening. Most of his time was spent nursing the dogs. He took care of these animals like his own kids. As time passed, the local people make a friendship with him in that local area. He also tried to mix with local people in various functions while celebrating. He also contributes desired money for the function. If he contributed, he would had joined these functions keeping his self respect. His wife was a teacher in a city school. She also mixed with local ladies . She used to take part in various lady’s function in the area. The family was settled in the city from other state. Their language was Hindi having some different type of culture from the local ladies. She had a curiosity to know about local culture. They started enjoying here by leaps and bound. 

                    After few years, their son passed the higher secondary school board examination with flying colors. They wanted that their son should go for higher education for getting a master of science in the United States of America. It was not the piece of cake for family. Son passed the qualifying examination for doing a master of science in the united States of America.If he had scored excellent marks in the qualifying examination, he would have got the scholarship for the degree.  But, he could not benchmark the score. It was dog eat dog job. Hence he was deprived from chance of getting a scholarship for his higher education in foreign. It cost bomb to the family for going for higher education. But the whole family was very ambitious to send their son for education in USA. Son was not a couch potato .He was eager and mentally prepared for loading the bear. His father applied for more than forty lac Indian rupees education loan. They mortgaged their newly constructed home for the education loan. They sent their alone son in USA for higher education. He completed his master of science degree in engineering. He also called his parent for convocation function of a university in the America. The parent was very happy and enthusiastic for going to America as son had fulfilled their dream. When it was pigs fly few years ago. They broke a leg to their son for bright career. They came back to India after completion of convocation function.

                It was a bite bullet job to obtain MS degree in America.  They were proud of their son’s achievement. of course, it was a remarkable thing for family and the peoples known to them. They dreamed that after few years of experience and expertise in the field in concerned companies of USA. He would come back to India. He would be the fat cat in Indian companies. Their expectations were very high from the son like other typical Indian fathers. 

                  Fortunately, he was working in the American company in USA. where his immediate boss was an Indian. Since both belonged to same country, incidentally from the same state of India. There was an intimacy between him and family of the boss. The boss had beautiful sister in law whose dream was to stay in America like her elder sister. She was charming and highly educated girl. The boss and his family together kept the proposal of marriage of the girl to him. He loaded the bear as he wanted to make his career in the America. He wanted to make hay while sun is shining. He thought for while, he took the decision at crossed road not loose such golden opportunity . he was of the opinion that the supreme always offer you the chance. It is your foresight to see and use it. He saw eye to eye to the proposal. He got married with the sister in law of boss without knowing his parent. They were highly depressed by the decision of their beloved son. They thought that their son would not come back to India. Evils had left the building. He settled in America with his family leaving his old parent in their country.

His father went into depression with so many earlier health problem. His grand mother was shocked as she left all hopes of her grand son’s marriage before starting her final journey to heaven. She passed away. He was an apple of the family’s eye. But he became bad apple as he was self-centered, selfish, career-oriented, greedy and love towards motherland and patriotism were insignificant for him. money There was only tired parent left in house without any dream and feeble expectation in their rest of the life. They might be thinking that there was something wrong in nursing their son. Their ambition cost bomb to them. They were awaiting for their final breath.
