A True Treasure

Dear Diary,

One of the greatest gifts we possess is the ability to work on our weaknesses until we perfect it. We, humans have evidently used this ability of ours judiciously and have gone discovering infinite possibilities to grow better and better. As known, we are gifted with the biggest brain on the planet and have used this power of ours to the maximum, usage for the collective benefit and usage for the greed we hold. History, in our case, always repeats itself when greed takes over our heart, what is thought as the benefit turns out to be mass destruction and becoming the cause of countless casualties.

Greed is a selfless desire we have embraced during all these years ditching what is truly important, targeting materialistic life goals which are when achieved, short-lived. Such mindsets cloud your original path and direct us elsewhere, ruining all milestones and goals of ours. Observing, I have learned how when greed is given space in heart, other problems in life such as lack of quality time with loved ones, absence of mindfulness and many other mind-weakening effects are attracted. To conclude, I’ll insist that materialistic happiness clouds our needs and is short-lived however happiness from our loved ones is a diamond never to be lost!
