Catherine was cleaning up her room. While doing this, she found a pair of gloves in her almirah. The gloves were rainbow-coloured and a little big for her hands. But she loved them. They were glistening. She put them on anyway. She noticed there is some dust on it on the palm side, so she rubbed them to dirt it off. But when she rubbed them, she noticed sparkles around her. Within seconds, she was teleported to another place. The place was something out of a child’s dream.

There were big trees. Much taller than normal trees. There were crystal blue rivers as wide as miles. Flowers were the size of a big tree in the normal world. Bees and fairies were buzzing all around. The sky had the sun and the moon at the same time but on opposite sides. The place was sparkling everywhere.

She was fantasized and mesmerized by the view around her. She looked down and noticed that her feet were not on the ground. She was floating about 10 inches above the ground. She started moving forward. She started noticing more unusual things. There were small houses, about half the size of houses in the normal world. People were short-sighted. They wore some strange clothing. She waved hello to them. They glared at her strangely.

She passed them and moved forward. She also saw giants who were working with wooden logs. They were building something.

Catherine greeted them. They responded by waving their hands. She kept moving forward. On the way, she spotted big and juicy red apples. She instantly felt the craving to eat them. she jumped up and grabbed one. She didn’t have enough strength to pluck it off the branch so she just clutched it there and ate until she was satisfied. Moving forward she spotted a waterfall from where the rainbow was shining. She thought of sliding on it. She set herself on the rainbow and set herself on her descent. Near the end, she splashed inside the water and was drenched. When she came out of the water, she spotted a giant door made of some spongy material. She touched it with her hand and she was surprised to see that her hand could pass through it easily.

She passed through the door and there was everything similar to the previous side but everything was upside down. She was also floating upside down. She came back to the previous side. She suddenly remembered how would she return to her own world. She thought, if she could come here by rubbing her gloves, she might go back the same way. So, she rubbed her gloves again and she was back in her half-cleaned room. She was smiling at herself. She was delighted to have so much fun. She named the place Fantasyland and saved the gloves so that she could go there anytime.
