A Tale Of Two beings

After a long and tiring day in the fields, they both made their way home on weary legs with a

resigned look on their faces. Both walked in complete silence because it was too late in the

night and also an inauspicious time to initiate a conversation.

He walked ahead while she followed him obediently and blindly with utmost faith in him. Every

now and then he looked at her with genuine concern, patting her head fondly and stroking her back reassuringly, motivating or rather goading her to take some more steps forward.

After what seemed to be endless hours of journey, they reached the familiar sight of their modest abode. He quickly walked to the entrance of their shelter and opened the gate for her. She entered the gate or premises with a long sigh of relief & satisfaction. She then immediately turned around and looked at him with a deep sense of gratitude and tears in her gentle eyes. She wanted to thank him desperately but did not know how to do it. She was in no position to say thanks.

For, he was a "Man" and she was a "Cow". A story of holy man & holy cow indeed, having mutual respect for each other!

Bottom Line :

In my view, any man who escorts his companion to safety with dignity and integrity can be termed as a "Torchbearer". He is a true man indeed and can also be called as an Aryan!
