A Realm beyond sunset

A Realm beyond sunset

When reality strikes me to the core sweeping away all my dreams compelling me to a sudden fall and crashing me on my room's carpet, I woke up all numb and its intensity is such that I can't feel the pain after a havoc fall, still I managed to handle the mess I created.

It was a dream...!!

I exclaimed to myself ......

But everything felt like it happened just a few seconds ago

Still the memories of the moments are so fresh in my mind.

I tried to reminisce again the moments when suddenly my mother called me from downstairs.

I said, Maa....give me some more minutes,

I lay on my bed closed my eyes tried concentrating but in vein.

Thought of dropping the plan but just at the moment I was about to open my eyes by some unusual forces I found standing in that bliss.

Symphonies of fireflies entrapped the extraordinary gaze of night at the shores of my untouched heart,

Beauty of darkness make us bloom like a petrichor dew,

Clearer the night may seem but heartless time read a

nd decay the lovelier lavender sky

Whispers and then silence the lullabies luring nightmares,

Emanating lustre lantern through the peak of luminescence freed the complexities that caused heart to pain and eyes to cry,

Peeled part of the sky hung down beaming astral realm ebbed the broken auras delineating the saddest songs of my camouflaged life

Shorelines pouring my lost and found dreams in decanter wipe away my midnight tears wetting pillows of young hood,

Falling dusk picturing the monopoly of universe descends to the waltzing cobalt seas,

A blink of ochre and grey on the fog swirled the hollow abyss drenching dawns,

Mildy inebriated sometimes but never a drunkard seeping smell of local wines,

Leafless petals awaits birthing unless seeds of present blossoming wishing dandelions ignoring the floating perfumed soul curating pernicious hours once more,

Blocked memories deprive of a warmly touch turned into a gossamer wings fading the umbilical connection to mandarin sunsets.

As heart in dream repairs the wounds of present.
