You Are My Stranger!
You Are My Stranger!
When you looked and smiled at me,
I see something in you that’s seldom,
Caring, helping, vision and creativity,
That's in you, so renowned,
I continued to glance over at you naturally,
Drawn to who you may be!
But a sight I can’t refuse to see,
From the beautiful flaw on your neck,
To the laces of your shoes,
The curiosity I have for what a stranger are you,
Grows as the seconds pass,
Like the beating of my heart!
Who are you?
If I may ask,
How do I walk up to you?
We didn’t know each other,
I was gathering my dreams,
Lining them up before my eyes,
But you said nothing!
At this moment I am convinced,
You’ll never leave my mind,
How could I forget the most beautiful moment?
How could I forget the way you glanced me?
Ode to the stranger,
Whom I met at the fair!
