Festival time is the fun time,

This is a memorable cultural time.

Makara Sankranti is the harvest season,

All villages in Andhra have a celebration reason.

Mother makes different snacks and sweets,

Then there are the joyous beats.

Different murals welcome the door-ways of each house,

There is a lot of visible happiness in every house.

The Pongal sweet is full of taste,

This can never be made in haste,

Friends and relatives keep wishing each other,

Most of them are visiting each other.

This wonderful fest time is a sweet remembrance,

Will wait every year for the funtime presence.
