Wish

A broken star in the sky,

Waving out to me to fulfill a desire,

Yes it did wave out to me,

Asking me if I was happy,

Asking me if I was alone,

And I thought I can wish for you,

But you were far away and gone,

I reached out though,

Hoping it won't let me down!

What did I just hear?

I heard your sound,

No it was just a tear, 

Of the wind that flew,

I traveled to the sky,

And in a little while,

I was promised I'll be beside you,

The promise of a life so new,

That it bought me to life within,

Hoping,

One day this loneliness will end!

And I see myself in your lap,

Taking a sweet little nap,
