Wish I could be like you

Emerging thoughts rapture 

From the core of my broken shattered life of fear

Staggering steps I find no step closer to you

I feel a million miles away from you

Words I find too difficult to express

No lines I find to paint colours on

For pitch black is my mind no vision

No reflection of life to turn back to and smile

No laughter to ink the happiness from within

I wish and long to share my life's song

But the tune is but lamentations of pain

A melody no harmony can harmonize

An a lost lonely Island 

Drifting in the ocean of the Pacific

Wishing and praying to one day rise and shine

For now let me watch in silence 

Build the vocabulary in me of which I lack

And one day rise with you to ink my innermost thoughts
