Winter Dreams

Early morning, when the sun rises and I could not see its beam,

I still want to hug myself under a blanket and sleep a little more,

I still want to complete the dream I had last night,

The cosy dream of living a happy life. 

Winter is the season to rejoice,

The cold wind makes us fresh, 

Even the slightest of heat relaxes the body.

The birds chatter early morning about how cold it is for them,

The doors and the curtains fly and give a vibe of the flight,

The night sky becomes darker with time, 

The sun rays tried hard to reach the earth.
