Unwanted Guests
Unwanted Guests
As the door bell rings
My heart starts going up and down the stairs
As it know what this call brings
As It knows it’s the unwanted pairs
More than my eyes
My heart cries
It fears
What’s coming next
And so it tears
As it welcomes the unwanted guests
Depress and pain are their names
And they play a very mean game
They invade the heart that is your home
And make you look like a garden gnome
The painful aspect
They tell me this is my only living
They make me accept
That there is no saviour to expect
They are like a growing cancer
And I’m not getting the treatment or solutions or answers
And I start to fail the test
And they top, the unwanted guests
