Unoccupied
Unoccupied
How will you measure the depth
Of this emptiness that
Follows me around day and night,
When you, engaged with your cheerful company,
Lively and loud ambiance, every second
Of your time is wonderfully occupied.
How could you ever look as far
As my vacant eyes can,
There's nothing to look forward to,
Dreading every creeping moment.
Bland advice, words of wisdom
Are nothing but impracticalities.
Wish to brighten my day, if you do,
Then take a step yourself,
Come now, yes now,
And take my loneliness away.
