Tragedy of Mirage
Tragedy of Mirage
That's the tragedy of mirage,
I believed it to be true,
And start living in that perspective.
Illusion became a strong view,
Which I adamantly accrued.
I chased to see the pool of water in deserts,
And tried to reach the horizon.
That's not possible I knew deep inside,
But still got carried away with its deceptive tides.
Setting the journey I went a long way,
Chasing something invisible in all ways.
Yes it was a beautiful hope,
But it hurt my loved ones, which they couldn't cope.
Beautiful was this mirage, but with a Scorpio sting,
So lonely was my floral spring,
As no one came with me to sing.
And when reached my life end,
I realized it was just a mind game.
Deceptive visions of a beautiful horizon,
I turned back to see,
But the horizon was in absentee.
O! What a waste of life of me,
Chasing a mirage which only I could see.
We live in some illusion which only we believe it to be true.
Time has come to see other perspective
