Togetherness
Togetherness
The year 2020 it is,
Adding tragedy to the life of billions,
Whether it be the pandemic sway
Or the locust attack on its way;
Whether it be the cyclone along the east
Or the belligerent troops in the north
Readying their feast;
The temperature of summer racing
Against time;
The floods along west is yet to sing a
Hymn,
The corridors of corpses debiting our
Solace away,
The cruise of crime people start to allure
Because the recession has a lot to say.
For all these unfathomable tears
Who is liable is yet not clear,
Standing by each other should we,
Hoping someday to ring the bells of glee.
Spreading the amiable clouds of support
Holding hands winning each one's vote
Today whether strangers, friends or foe
We all have to cross the banks in the same
Boat to row.
Open the doors to swing in the pollens
Of positivity,
Slide the windows to let thy lord bestow
Longevity,
We don't know our destiny a year or two
From now
But whether it be a sour death or a future
Ahead,
In this realm a seed of togetherness shall we plough.
