The Wait Of Love

Remember those novels, 

That had the saddest endings, 

Now explains a kind of grief, 

But for love, its never a defeat, 

But a long wait for the time to return. 

Patience is the heart beat of love! 

Remember The Sun that waits, 

For The Moon to show up, 

And asks every flower to bloom, 

Pleases the birds to chirp,

And makes a rainbow after every rain, 

Hoping she would arrive at any time, 

A kind of belief, 'a forever mine'!

Only the poets knew, 

How The Moon waited for The Sun, 

With canopy of stars, 

Making an art with the clouds borrowed, 

And how The Sun waited for The Moon! 

With the colors of Nature. 

The sky too never spills the secret, 

And waits for the day to come!
