The Pigeon And The Eagle
The Pigeon And The Eagle
Snap out for once, for your own sake
Out of that incredibly ridiculous world
Trying hard for approval, attention
Like the pigeon flapping its wings
Contrary to the eagle it watches gliding high
Its wings will never see that glory
Coz the eagle never fluttered for the skies
Or the earth to admire its beauty
While the pigeon only left its nest
To be the eagle it never was
And just like that, the sun rose again
With the pigeon flapping in vain
But oblivious to the honour it earned
The eagle soared humble again
