The Muses Of Manisaukee
The Muses Of Manisaukee
Who will take the debate
With those whose days out-number the stars,
Whose passion crushes mountains
Into blowing drifts of desert sands,
Whose love spawns transcendent visions
Of day and night in unfathomable, whirling freedom?
Man of flesh, do not fear us,
For we consider you frail of soul,
And have no evil intent upon you.
Take heed ever of such day
As you receive an invitation
To our table.
