Sweetest Soul

O sweetest soul with a beautiful mind,

You have been a friend, that’s rare to find.

Had I not been abundantly blessed by Him,

I would never have met a great human of your kind.

You are my benefactor, who showed me light,

Encouraging me to live the joys of life,

You soothed my wounded nerves with your affection,

And coaxed me, never to give up my strife.

It wasn’t merely by your words, my friend,

That you instilled in me plenteous confidence;

Through your endeavors and achievements,

You wished for my walk towards excellence.

Never have I seen you, nor did ever I meet you,

Yet felt your angelic presence around me,

Your presence forced me to work against all odds,

And, work with an aim to achieve.

The future may not be the same as today,

We all have to embark on an unforeseen journey,

If ever we lose touch, or if separated by His decision,

I pray, that our kinship stays immutable, forever, by destiny.
