Spring
Spring
With footsteps of winter in the past,
The snow finally begins to melt at last.
I have been trapped in a frost-locked cage for months!
Though my snowy winter days gone
I am delighted the stubborn
winds of March took a flight,
welcoming April showers!
The gorgeous green across the hill was where the snow used to live,
the whistling sounds of winter
now filled with the song of the wind chime rings!
The air so fine and all blossoms bloom!
The trees are now filled with leaves
and the animals long in hiding scurry from the trees.
The snow on the grass in replaced with dew,
The flossy clouds gracefully dance askew
Let the gentle rays of morning Sun fondle you,
Soft petals falling silently from the trees charm you!
The fresh smell of spring showers,
where everything is born anew.
The Season where in the dawn
birds chirping, grasshoppers singing,
ravens cawing, frogs croaking by the pond in chorus
is your new alarm clock
The season of new beginnings,
the season where the earth seems to come to life again.
The season which adds new joy to all that is.
The season which makes an Agelast smile!
