Spring Rain
Spring Rain
One late winter morning,
Sitting in the Park, I saw most
Of the trees in front of the street,
Shed their leaves looking withered & dry
As they became lifeless due to frost,
They are looking dull and dreary,
But after some days spring rain comes,
With storm and wind became angry,
All the trees dripping and wet in rain,
Withered trees branches shining in
Sunlight like diamond droplets, in
Some days tiny leaves spreading twigs
I was amazed to see the leaves,
As I think the trees withered and dry,
Slowly the trees became thick green,
Looking beautiful with small white, purple
Flowers dropped in the street as for welcome
The spring rain brought life after winter,
For the earth, blooming colorful flower,
Scattered and mixed scents in the air,
Looking like the smiling beloved,
With a charming face delighted.
Spring rain I seem sent from heaven,
May be nature's holy plan.
