Serenity

Serenity

In these bright sunny days,

You can surely find a few

Filled with ecstasy

This is nothing new

The dark era is unspoken of

It’s a tale wanting to be forgotten

Hearts quack with desperation

Fearing how far darkness had gotten

When iniquity engulfed humanity

Unforgettable sins had been committed

Nature retaliated for balance

In a way nobody anticipated

Loneliness had become a part of life

Where voices would echo on and on

Fazed were the humans not braced for Karma

Hoping for a miracle with everybody around

Wars fought for serenity never ended

But taught all creatures a lesson or two

Provoking an unknown unified faith in the hearts

When hope became known to a few
