Seek for Bliss
Seek for Bliss
Hell-ridden I was, tethered to some pain
Throbs I suffered, despair built me wholly, perfectly,
Every inch of me anguished, yearning for a tick of elation, at least
But gloomed girded me, and black was all I could see
I had some advisers, were patient enough to hear out my woe,
They also attempted to narrow my dim,
A whole lot of trials,
And I finally found bliss
Some suggested the feet of god,
And sprouting into a saint
While some suggested a pleasure of dope,
Assuring a glimpse of eternal paradise
But true bliss I found in toil,
Gravitating, yet rising with the tide of time,
Enduring a few cuts and gashes, I stood stalwart,
And delight drained into me, my heart, my soul, and my existence.
