Promises Of Life

Promises of life, I said, 

Looking at her face, 

A million miles away. 

The flower she gave me, 

As I set my way to my place, 

Has now dripped its petals off,

The sun is too tired to see my pale face, 

And so is The Moon, 

Who his herself behind the clouds, 

For not to see me drunk, 

And weep about her.

Fate is sour, I never mind, 

For I only want, 

 The end of us, together, 

And nothing could be, 

Much sweeter than that!
