Precious
Precious
“Precious”, a simple word, never knew could be so dear to me,
Until that day when I first held you, my adorable baby.
Eleven hours in the labor room bearing excruciating pain,
Was awarded your first wail as I felt, my pain wasn't in vain.
Your teeny weeny fingers when caressed my face,
Joyful tears rolled down my cheeks with your embrace.
A part of me, now lay curled and snuggled with me,
Your smiling face and glittering eyes fill my heart with glee.
Who desires for the dazzling diamonds or gold?
When I possess such Precious, Priceless moments to behold.
