Girlfriends are the spice of your life, 

Pyjama parties, sleep-ins and naughty words when with them are always rife! 

Without friends, living is no fun;

Squealing in delight and chortling with girls,

Gossiping, giggling and guffawing - a new world unfurls!

The bond made then lasts a lifetime,

And meeting each other even after decades, the bells instantly chime! 

Scribbling notes to each other during the class,

Signifies love and not just timepass!

Always biting more than we can chew, 

But when caught by teachers, we stick to each other like glue! 

A girlfriend is there to share all your triumphs and joys, 

And to heal the heartbreak over the undeserving boys! 

Sniffles and tears she is there to wipe,

And hold your hand through all the strife! 

You surely are blessed if you have one special friend,
