Nature

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower,

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf,

So Eden sank to grief.

So dawn gets down to day,

Nothing gold can stay.

All natural things both live and move,

In natural peace that is their own.

Only in disordered life,

Almost is she unknown.

I wandered lonely as a cloud,

That floats high over hills.

When all at once I saw,

A host of golden daffodils.
