Nature Speak

The day had dawned bright and clear,

The trees and lanes were bursting with cheer.

Lavender boughs were bowing on the streets,

As if to welcome the ongoing spring.

She walked on the carpet of purple and dusty pinks,

And tracked the sunlight as it through the trees winked.

Amongst the veil of soft ephemeral blooms,

She felt blessed and it dissipated her gloom. 

She devoured the sight with greedy eyes, 

Picturesque and beauty.
