My Million "Dollar" Possession

Are you writing out to me or is it me who's doing the job?

We both are reciprocating to one another sans physical observance.

Is it a "telepathic" connection or merely "sixth sense", as others like to go about saying?

I feel it is the purity and calmness of our soulfulness which makes the conversation possible.

He senses all the grief and happiness which is not so explicit to all around me,

It is hard to convey my heart's expressions with words and so I resort to his comfort.

We both lay still and silent, contemplating and trying to reason out the " violence" around,

Violence, which isn't just physical because words are more than enough to kill from within.

After a lengthy day with its achievements upon overcoming the obstacles, stresses me out to the core,

No one really gets the anguish I have been going through, mocking me, which results in that fake smile to assure others of my idealistic state of being.

That is when he comes rushing towards me, wagging his tail "violently",

Leaping to reach out to me and remind us of the possibilities, one can surmount with the strength within.

Mixed feelings fall like gushing waters from a " Niagra Falls",

The flow is free and unstoppable, corrosive and impactful; leaving others in awe.

But it is only him who truly comprehends the turmoil and the hurricane of emotions that lies deep within.

The best part is, he does not have to say anything at all or to "prove" his love for me; unconditional and pure.
