My Identity
My Identity
As I looked up the sky,
It saw my pain and gave a cry,
The rainy tears embraced my face,
Pausing my world and all my worldly chase,
As I stood there drenching in the droplets,
Pouring out my fears from the goblet,
As each moment passed,
I started learning from those moments past,
Rain, it taught me a lot,
It did fill my command pot,
It said,
"It's necessary to touch the ground sometimes;
It's necessary to get embraced sometimes;
It's necessary to complete what you start;
never fall,but get poured;
Pour for as long as you wish, until you are done;
Stop once you finish;
And you will form a rainbow around yourself;
Which will be yours to enjoy and dwell."
I open my eyes as the rain stopped,
Seeing a long curve of seven heavenly colours mingling in the clouds,
I had cleared my doubts,
Be like rain,
Which stands out as a symbol for both happiness and sorrow,
Be yourself and dream a tomorrow,
Make your own identity and never borrow.
