My Childhood
My Childhood
I still remember those beautiful days,
When I had no duty to do!
When I was free to do everything
This is my first childhood memory and maybe yours too.
I didn’t know how to read and write,
I didn’t know how to eat food with my own hands.
I didn’t know how to speak!
I didn’t know how to walk on the land.
But I was taught how to do everything.
Which is helping me now as well.
And if I would not have learnt it,
I would feel like I am in hell!
I often broke my toys,
Which made my tears come out.
Then I approached another one,
And again started to shout.
After some days, I was sent into a building
Where education, to our minds, tied a string.
And most of the days,
We wait for the last bell to ring!
As I grow older, there are many duties to do,
And I have decided I would.
So, like this time flew away,
As well as my beautiful childhood.
