Missing Home
Missing Home
Few miles away is my home
I can't go, I'm locked down
Just can imagine about the time
Could have spent with the people of mine
Daily video call is a routine
At least to see them through the screen
The unfelt touch is sometimes emotional
Showing my pain is absolutely optional
Among the members of almost all
They too miss their middle girl
Although they don't share what they do
I am able to feel their pain too
Surprisingly show them I am happy
Sometimes find lonely and sleepy
But what can be done?
Where everything is locked down
Those delicious homemade dishes
My cravings for the flavours
Are seriously being missed
With hostel menu; I'm seriously pissed
Open the lock, find the key
Want to go home that is near to me
Vanish the virus and the restrictions
It's gradually increasing the obstructions
Waiting to meet my long waited family
For the cute unclear words of Google
That time is soon to come
When I will go to my home
