Love In Nature
Love In Nature
When I looked upon that mountain,
And how the clouds gently smother its peak and flow away,
I wonder how beautiful is such an encounter,
Love of a moment,
Remembrance of a lifetime.
When I looked upon that stream of water, a rivulet,
And how it ran it's soothing touch as it flew, o
Over the mountain from top to bottom.
Another kind of temporary love,
Whose essence lingers for long.
When I looked at that dewdrop,
Losing its shape beautifully on the petal,
And finally its identity,
Making the petal shine.
What a sacrificial love it is,
A moment's surrender to the other,
Glorifying the lover for a long time.
