Summary of this poem: A poor man becomes king and faces his mean daughter who hates him. He loves his grandson who's strong and he passes away.

Shiny sequins, Don't break the sequence!

On the nest, that's where I rest.

You're the best, You gave me a quest.

Now I'm a king, There's no other big thing.

Bells go Ding! Ding! The alarm goes Ring! Ring!, There's no other thing to sing!

Now I have a daughter, And I'm a rich father.

She wears a tie and collar, She goes to school but I'm taller!

Now my daughter's the queen, She's taller than I've ever been.

I'm getting older, the weather's getting colder.

I don't feel any bolder, I've become a newspaper folder.

Now It's her reign, I used to be the main.

And now I'm fed, That's what she said.

When I went to bed, My face turned red.

Eating the big feast, Filled up with some yeast.

I used to be the beast, But now I get the least.

Now I have a grandson, The fun has already begun.

He's cute like a kitten, Who wears my old mitten.

He's always under the pile of sock, Lost in the sheep flock.

Behind a heavy rock, Stonger than a lock.

Now I'm in bed, It's time to be dead.

I remember what she said, When I went to bed.
